Welcome to Printhub.lk. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the digital printing, graphic design, and custom merchandise services we provide. By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. General Agreement
Printhub.lk (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates as a digital printing shop based in Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, vendors, customers, and merchants. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the website or use our services.
2. User Uploads and Copyright
When you submit graphic design files, logos, text, or any other artwork for printing, you agree to the following:
Ownership and Rights: You confirm that you hold the necessary copyrights, trademarks, or licenses for all submitted materials. Printhub.lk assumes no liability for intellectual property infringement claims arising from files uploaded by clients.
Prohibited Content: We reserve the right to refuse orders that contain illegal, offensive, defamatory, or explicit material, or content that violates any local laws of Sri Lanka.
3. Proofing, Color Matching, and Print Quality
Printing is a physical manufacturing process, and certain variables are inherent to the industry.
Digital Proofs and Typos: If you request a digital proof, it is your responsibility to review it thoroughly for spelling errors, layout issues, and missing elements. Once a proof is approved, Printhub.lk is not responsible for any typos or errors in the final printed product.
Color Variations: Because computer monitors display colors in RGB and printing presses operate in CMYK, exact color matching between your screen and the final printed product cannot be guaranteed. A reasonable variation in color is expected and does not constitute a defect.
File Quality: We print based on the files provided. We are not responsible for pixelation or blurriness resulting from low-resolution file uploads.
4. Order Cancellations
Because our products are custom manufactured to your exact specifications (e.g., custom apparel, packaging boxes, wristbands), our cancellation policy is strictly enforced.
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund only if production has not yet begun.
Once an order enters the printing or production phase, it cannot be cancelled, and you will be responsible for the full purchase price.
5. Refunds, Returns, and Reprints
Custom printed items cannot be restocked or resold. Therefore, all sales are final, with the following exceptions:
Manufacturing Defects: If your order arrives damaged, short in quantity, or contains a clear manufacturing error on our part, you must notify us within 3 business days of receiving the order.
Reprints: We will assess the issue and, at our sole discretion, offer a free reprint or a partial/full refund. We may require you to return the defective items or provide photographic evidence of the issue before processing a reprint.
6. Turnaround Times and Delivery
Production Times: Estimated production turnaround times begin only after payment is confirmed and the final design proof is approved.
Shipping Delays: We partner with local delivery couriers to ship orders across Colombo and island-wide. While we strive to meet all delivery estimates, we are not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics, severe weather, or public holidays.
7. Intellectual Property of Printhub.lk
While you retain all rights to your uploaded artwork, all content generated by us—including website text, our own logos, and structural website design—is the property of Printhub.lk.
Custom Design Services: If you hire our team to create an original design or layout for you, Printhub.lk retains the rights to those working files unless a full copyright transfer is explicitly agreed upon and paid for.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Printhub.lk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, printing services, or delivery delays. Our maximum liability to you for any single order will not exceed the total amount you paid for that specific order.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
