1. Ordering & Design Files

What file formats do you accept for printing?

We accept high-resolution files in the following formats:

• Vector files (Recommended): Adobe Illustrator (.AI), .EPS, or vector .PDF (ensure all fonts are outlined/converted to curves).

• Raster files: Adobe Photoshop (.PSD), .TIFF, or high-resolution .PNG and .JPEG.

What resolution should my artwork be?

For sharp, crisp prints, your artwork should be at least 300 DPI at 100% of the final physical print size. Files downloaded directly from social media or standard web pages are usually 72 DPI and may appear blurry or pixelated when printed.

Should I submit my files in RGB or CMYK?

Please submit your artwork in CMYK color mode. Digital and commercial presses print using CMYK ink. If you provide RGB files, our prepress system will automatically convert them to CMYK, which can cause noticeable color shifts (especially in bright greens, neon blues, and hot pinks).

Do I need to include bleed and margins in my design?

Yes. For edge-to-edge printing (such as flyers, business cards, brochures, or packaging boxes):

• Add a minimum of 3 mm (0.125 in) bleed on all sides.

• Keep all critical text and logos at least 3 mm to 5 mm inside the trim line (safe zone) to prevent accidental cropping during cutting.

What if I don’t have a print-ready design?

We provide in-house graphic design and layout services! Whether you have an existing logo that needs adjusting, want a layout adapted for custom packaging, or need a fresh design from scratch, our team can assist. Contact us with your project details for a custom design quote.

2. Proofing & Color Matching

Will I get to review a proof before printing begins?

Yes. For all custom orders, we provide a digital PDF proof for your review via email or WhatsApp. We will not begin production until you give explicit written approval. Please verify all spelling, contact numbers, layouts, and dimensions carefully during this stage.

Will the printed colors match what I see on my screen?

Not 100%. Computer and mobile screens emit light in RGB, whereas physical printing uses reflective light on paper or fabric using CMYK inks. While our calibrated digital equipment ensures high color fidelity, minor variations between monitor displays and the finished printed product are normal.

3. Products & Quantities

What types of printing products do you offer?

We specialize in digital printing, promotional merchandise, and packaging, including:

• Marketing Materials: Business cards, flyers, brochures, posters, stickers, and labels.

• Corporate & Office: Letterheads, envelopes, presentation folders, ID cards, and desk/wall calendars.

• Custom Merchandise & Apparel: Custom wristbands (Tyvek, silicone, fabric), t-shirts, caps, and branded corporate gifts.

• Packaging & Retail: Custom folding carton boxes, corrugated mailers, and branded retail paper bags.

• Large Format Prints: Pull-up banners, indoor/outdoor signage, and canvas prints.

Is there a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

Because we utilize advanced digital printing technology, we can fulfill short runs and small batches without the heavy setup costs of traditional offset printing. While certain specialized items (such as custom moulded wristbands or bespoke rigid packaging) carry minimum order thresholds, most standard paper prints and promotional items have very low or no MOQs.

4. Turnaround Times & Production

How long will it take to produce my order?

Standard production turnaround depends on the product:

• Standard Digital Printing (Business cards, flyers, posters): 1 to 3 business days following proof approval and payment.

• Custom Apparel & Merchandise: 3 to 7 business days.

• Custom Packaging & Bulk Runs: 5 to 10 business days, depending on die-cutting, lamination, and finishing requirements.

Note: Turnaround time begins only after payment confirmation and final proof approval.

Can you handle rush or same-day orders?

Yes, we accommodate urgent and rush orders whenever our production schedule permits. Contact us directly via phone or WhatsApp before submitting your order to confirm same-day or 24-hour turnaround availability.

5. Delivery & Store Pickup

Do you deliver across Sri Lanka?

Yes. We ship island-wide via trusted local courier partners.

• Colombo & Suburbs: Typically delivered within 1 to 2 business days after production.

• Outstation Areas: Typically delivered within 2 to 4 business days after dispatch.

Can I pick up my order in person?

Yes. You can opt to pick up your completed order directly from our location in Mount Lavinia. We will notify you by phone, WhatsApp, or email the moment your order is packed and ready for collection.

6. Payments, Cancellations & Returns

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

• Direct bank transfers (online banking deposit with slip submission)

• Online credit/debit card payments via secure payment gateway

• Cash or card payments for walk-in pickups at our Mount Lavinia office

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

You can cancel your order for a full refund only if production has not started. Once a digital proof is approved and the job enters the printing or cutting process, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded due to the custom nature of printed goods.

What happens if there is an error on my print?

• Printing/Manufacturing Defects: If an order arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted due to an error on our end, please notify us within 3 business days of receipt with clear photographs. We will gladly reprint the affected items or issue a store credit/refund.

• Client Errors: If a typo, incorrect date, or low-resolution image was approved by you on the digital proof, Printhub.lk cannot be held liable. However, we will work with you to offer a discounted reprint rate.
